Is this how you would describe a manager from your past career who had low emotional intelligence??

Updated: Apr 17, 2023

  1. "Unempathetic" Showcasing empathy is the number-one way to show emotional intelligence, and a manager with low emotional intelligence may struggle in this area.

  2. "Unaware" Self-awareness is one of the five main components of emotional intelligence, and a manager with low emotional intelligence may have difficulty recognizing and understanding their own emotions.

  3. "Unresponsive" A manager with low emotional intelligence may not understand or respond to the emotional needs of their employees.

  4. "Cruel" A manager with low emotional intelligence may be unconsciously cruel or insensitive to the feelings of their employees.

  5. "Naive" A manager with low emotional intelligence may be naively optimistic or unaware of the challenges facing their team.

  6. "Inconsiderate" A manager with low emotional intelligence may not be considerate of the feelings and needs of their employees.

  7. "Ineffective" A manager with low emotional intelligence may struggle to understand and respond to the emotional needs of their employees, which can make them ineffective as a leader.

  8. "Unmotivating" A manager with low emotional intelligence may have difficulty inspiring and motivating their team.

  9. "Unsupportive" A manager with low emotional intelligence may not be able to understand or respond to the emotional needs of their employees, which can make them unsupportive.

  10. "Uncaring" A manager with low emotional intelligence may not be able to understand or respond to the emotional needs of their employees, which can make them appear uncaring.
